Why we started our foundation
I’ve always been a giver and loved helping people. As a Christian, I wanted to do something with my life to help others build their relationship with Jesus. It started with buying Bibles for individuals, and from there, The Bible Foundation grew. Our purpose is simple: to provide free Bibles to those who cannot afford one, helping them connect with God’s word.
Making a difference in Aotearoa
The Bible Foundation provides people with God’s word, helping new Christians access a Bible and supporting others who struggle to afford one. We carefully source our Bibles from local New Zealand Christian bookstores and second-hand shops, keeping our efforts community-focused and locally friendly.
Our guiding principles
Our work at The Bible Foundation is guided by core principles: to help someone in need, to be a cheerful giver, and to help build the relationship with God for both young and old Kiwis. These beliefs inspire every action we take, ensuring we remain true to our mission of sharing faith and hope.
